About Us

When I met my girlfriend Christine, Bella had already been part of her life for years. It didn't take long before she became part of mine, too. She was an incredible black Lab with a gentle soul and a playful nature.

When we lost Bella to cancer in November of 2021, the silence that followed was harder than we ever imagined. Anyone who's ever loved a dog knows exactly what I mean—the quiet house, the empty routines, and the feeling that something important is suddenly missing.

A few months later, we decided we were ready to open our hearts again. Not to replace Bella—because you can't replace a dog who's been part of your family. But we did miss the sound of paws on the floor, the excitement at the front door, and the joy that only a dog can bring into a home.

In February 2022 we went to a local rescue event knowing there would be black Lab puppies there. I remember standing in front of their pen looking them over, only to realize that Christine had disappeared. I retraced my steps and found her sitting in front of another enclosure.

Inside was a single pit bull puppy that everyone was walking past.

Her name was Bailey.

If I'm being honest, I wasn't interested. At all. Because like a lot of people, I'd spent years hearing the same stories about pit bulls. I'd been told they were aggressive, unpredictable, and not the kind of dog I wanted to bring home.

Then my girlfriend handed Bailey to me.

She looked up at me, licked my face, and in about five seconds completely destroyed years of every assumption I'd ever made about pit bulls.

We brought her home with us that day.

The Dog Who Changed Everything

We thought we were giving Bailey a forever home. Turns out, she's the one who changed ours forever.

Fast forward a few years, and Bailey isn't just our dog.

She's our shadow. And my best friend.

Since I work from home, we're together all day, every day. Whether I'm in my office answering emails, on conference calls, or trying to get work done, she's never far away. Most days she's curled up, quietly keeping me company—unless she decides it's time for a tummy tickles break.

If we're running errands, she's riding shotgun.

If we're planning a vacation, Bailey is part of the itinerary.

And when the day is over, you'll usually find the three of us unwinding with a good TV show. It's become one of those simple routines that you don't think much about, until you realize you wouldn't trade it for anything.

She's woven into every part of our lives, and honestly, I can't imagine life any other way.

Somewhere along this journey, I realized Bailey had given me far more than I ever expected.

She changed my perspective. She taught me that a breed should never be judged by stereotypes, headlines, or fear.

She showed me what unconditional loyalty, ridiculous goofiness, endless affection, and unwavering companionship really look like.

She introduced me to an entire community of people who already knew what I was just beginning to learn: Pit bulls aren't defined by myths. They're defined by the love they give.

Why Pittietopia Exists

Pittietopia was created for the people who already know.

The people whose couches somehow belong to their pitties.

The people who laugh through the zoomies, gladly pay the cheese tax, and have accepted that personal space is no longer part of their life.

The people who know that behind every pibble is an enormous heart.

Our goal isn't just to make great t-shirts.

It's to build a community that celebrates everything we love about these incredible dogs—through humor, through creativity, and through stories that help change perceptions one conversation at a time.

Some of our designs are meant to make you laugh.

Some are meant to make you proud.

Some are meant to start conversations.

All of them are inspired by the dogs that make our lives better every single day.

Giving Back

Bailey may have inspired Pittietopia, but countless other pit bulls are still waiting for someone to give them the chance—and the loving home—she was given.

That's why giving back has always been part of our vision.

A portion of our proceeds will always go toward supporting pit bull rescues and shelters, through donations and by helping cover adoption fees for dogs looking for their forever homes.

We're still building this part of our mission, and we'll share more as it develops.

Whether you've loved pitties your whole life or, like me, one special dog completely changed your perspective...we're glad you're here.

This is a place for the people who know that life is better with a pittie by your side.

Welcome to the family.
